Kanika is absolutely amazing!! She is every bride's dream wedding planner. My experience working with her was 100% positive. In the beginning when I had made initial contact, it was through word of mouth that she was awesome as she had conducted my friend's wedding. In the initial meeting, Kanika immediately made a connection with me by really listening to my needs and laying out her services of what she offers. Once we agreed on the approach (I had her to help me for full service and is necessary for multiple events in a South Asian wedding), she quickly became my trusted advisor for my wedding as well as such a great friend. Kanika has all of the connections in the wedding industry and connected me immediately to all of them. She never pressured me to choose them and allowed me to do independent research as well before deciding who to contract with. She always gave me both sides to contemplate with vendors and based on her experience and the work product she has seen from planning multiple weddings what would be the best option for my vision. When it comes to execution, she is the planner you need. Kanika very early on held a planning meeting with both the bride and groom families to introduce herself and talk through wedding timelines and what happens at each event. For families that are inexperienced with throwing a huge wedding, this was so helpful and her expertise really helped ease everyone's minds. Kanika is highly responsive, always answering text messages, phone calls and would even drive EVERYWHERE to meet you if you needed her. In terms of the day of coordination, Kanika is always got her eyes on the timeline, how things are progressing, managing all vendor contacts and is always checking in with the bride and groom that they are ok. Even with your gifts, props, decor that is yours or any highly valuable items, she is very organized and is always ensuring they are secure. When you are a bride and/or groom that is so focused on your family and event, you don't have time to be focused on administrative items and Kanika is the PERFECT person to hire. She is absolutely amazing, makes sure you eat enough as the bride and groom and stay hydrated (with water). You would be hands down missing an opportunity for the best wedding execution if you did not go with her.
